The farmhouse is located in a beautiful position at the beginning of the road leading up to the Cansano station, a short distance from the town centre and the Sulmona - Campo di Giove provincial road. The original part of the building, a typical Abruzzo rural construction, dates back to the end of the 19th century. As was the custom then, it served as a dwelling and a barn - stable for agricultural and pastoral activities. The building, purchased by the De Chellis family at the end of the 1960s, has a large farmyard where the artisanal mini-dairy is located.
