"Il Mio Casale " is a Farm specializing in organic and biodynamic crops that offers Farm Holidays. The farm is at Monte Colombo, in the hills near Rimini. It overlooks the Conca valley well known for its gentle, rolling hills, where nature, in some parts still quite wild, lives in harmony with farming and the typical crops of olive trees and vines. The 32 hectares of land of the “Il Mio Casale” overlook the valley facing the State of San Marino and the sea. Immersed in the quiet of the green countryside and away from the traffic, it is only 15 minutes from the well-known beaches of Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica. In addition, the surrounding area offers the possibility of discovering interesting, historical towns such as Urbino, San Leo, Gradara and San Marino all the way to the striking mountains of Carpegna in the Tuscan-Emilian part of the Apennines. "Il Mio Casale " offers warm, welcoming facilities composed of 7 rooms built in wood all with private shower and toilet, based on bio-architectural standards. The Restaurant was originally an old railway wagon and offers the possibility of trying traditional dishes based on “Il Menù del Contadino” (The farmer’s menu) as it is poetically known. It’s a full meal based on fresh, organic products of the farm: stone-ground flour to prepare traditional pasta, bread, and homemade cakes. Fresh picked vegetables, sauces, jams, oil, wine, typical liqueurs. At “Il Mio Casale” there is a pleasant shop, open all year, which displays and sells all the farm’s products. Cereals, syrups, jams, flours, liqueurs, wine, oil and fresh vegetables harvested by hand from our market gardens and greenhouses.
