The La rosta holiday farm is located in a very central position, which makes us an excellent starting point for excursions either by bus (bus stop 200 metres away) or by train (Cervignano del Friuli railway station 2 km away). Places of exceptional historical and scenic importance are only a few kilometres away! The structure is housed in a farmhouse dating back to the end of the 18th century and used as an inn since 1812. A recent careful renovation has highlighted the ancient structures and enhanced the atmosphere of bygone times of the typical Friulian farmhouse. In the 3 rooms located on the ground floor you can observe tools, utensils and photographs that bear witness to the rural life of the last century. In the rooms that once housed the inn, you can sit around the fireplace and taste our DOC Friuli Aquileia wines (Merlot, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tocai Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio) and taste our homemade cold cuts and sausages and typical Friulian hot dishes such as frico, donkey stew, tripe and other seasonal specialities. The agriturismo offers hospitality in 7 rooms with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a breakfast of typical products. The lift also allows access for the disabled. The rooms are equipped with every comfort: private bathroom, heating, air conditioning, and a small balcony. The 3 south-facing rooms overlook the Mortesina canal, while the 4 north-facing rooms overlook the vineyards. A single room is equipped with all kinds of facilities to make it accessible to the disabled. After a peaceful rest, a rich breakfast awaits you, where you can start a wonderful day tasting homemade cakes, fruit, jams, juices and... for the most demanding guests there will be cold meats and cheeses typical of our region.
