Fonte di Papa is located along the ancient Via Salaria, less than half an hour from the centre of Rome within the Marcigliana Nature Reserve. The Tenuta is an old farmhouse covering 10 hectares and its origins date back to the end of the 19th century when the main agricultural activities were wine production in the "Cantine Fonte di Papa" and horse breeding. Today, Tenuta Agricola Fonte di Papa constitutes one of the last agricultural estates in the Municipality of Rome and still preserves its original and natural predisposition for the growth and free life of horses. The manor house offers hospitality to all those who are attracted by country life and nature, but who do not want to miss out on visiting historic and ancient Rome, only 15 km away. The second farmhouse is an old renovated stable where receptions, weddings, private parties and corporate events of all kinds can be organised. In the manor house of the estate there are 5 independent flats for 4 people, with bedroom, bathroom, TV, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette and 1 double bedroom with bathroom for a total of 22 beds. In the case of events requiring several people to stay overnight, we have arrangements with nearby hotels. All the rooms are very spacious and finished, with terracotta and parquet floors. The flats consist of: a double bedroom with TV and independent bathroom (in some cases an extra bed can be provided), a living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, private outdoor garden (for flats on the ground floor). The kitchenette is equipped with all comforts (fridge, 2-burner cooker, microwave oven) for self-catering and bathroom and bed linen is always provided (with weekly change and daily service on request). In some flats there is also a characteristic fireplace. The double bedroom is located on the first floor of the farmhouse, sleeps two and consists of a bedroom with TV, mini bar and independent bathroom.
