Immersed in the Roman countryside, among the colorful hues that nature offers us, on a verdant hill, stands the new agritourism "POGGIO dei CAVALIERI" by Patrizia Fedeli. A true oasis of tranquility, among avenues of centuries-old olive trees and the scents of rosemary and lavender. The houses and stables, now converted into a restaurant and rooms, have been restored in keeping with the original structures and using period materials. In the farmhouse, formerly a stable, one can now find the kitchen, the restaurant dining rooms, and two wonderful pink rooms frescoed with cherubs on the walls, reserved exclusively for lunches or dinners for couples in love. (CUPID'S ROOMS) The large farmhouse (once the accommodation for farmers) and the granary today house apartments and rooms with all amenities, some enhanced by a wonderful fireplace and a corner shell-shaped whirlpool bath. The facility houses stables with purebred TPR, Murgese, and Haflinger horses. The farm breeds Chianina cattle, Girgentana goats, Suffolk sheep, and Rottweiler dogs and long-haired Bernese Mountain Dogs. From the orchards and vegetable gardens of the estate, choice fruit and vegetables are produced, transformed into jams and preserves in oil by the skilled hands of the owner PATRIZIA. An exceptional EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil, also of own production, is the crowning glory of the kitchen, which uses all farm products typical of Roman cuisine. The house white and red wines are regional, alongside the finest labels. All these characteristics make the Agritourism "POGGIO dei CAVALIERI" a pleasant place where days can be spent in peace and serenity, accompanied by the sweet and succulent dishes that the restaurant kitchen turns out.
