Description Antico Frantoio

We were founded in 1990 in Isolabona, in the Val Nervia, driven by Marco Grillo's passion for agriculture. What began with the 100 olive trees left by our grandparents has grown into a thriving enterprise: today we cultivate over 7,000 taggiasca olives at an altitude of over 600 metres, and we also produce quality wines such as Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC and Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente. Everything managed by us, from the field to the bottle.

In our restaurant you can enjoy dishes rooted in Ligurian tradition, paired with our oils and wines. It is not a show: it is simply what we do best. Our children Anna and Amedeo continue the work with the same dedication. Come and discover what it means to cultivate the land with care. We are here in Isolabona, and we look forward to welcoming you.

The restaurant showcases the gastronomic excellence of Liguria, highlighting the products of the farm: Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil, pitted and unpitted Taggiasche Olives in brine and oil, as well as aromatic condiments. The table is enriched with local wines: Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC, Pigato and Vermentino from Riviera Ligure di Ponente.

The owners, Anna and Amedeo Grillo, personally oversee every detail, guaranteeing attentive and courteous service. The atmosphere is that of an authentic quality agriturismo, with a pleasant setting surrounded by the landscape of Val Nervia.
