The farmhouse, cosy in size, includes the old farmhouse built in the typical rural architecture of the Marche region: the external walls are in exposed sandstone, the chimney pots in stone, while inside the rooms have terracotta floors, oak-beamed ceilings and chestnut fixtures. In the background, a simple yet wild nature, full of surprises and products. The heart of the property is embraced by the large garden to which, thanks to the numerous large windows, there is easy access from all the rooms on the ground floor, all around the garden is perfectly lit. A short distance from the farmhouse, overlooking the valley in front, is the swimming pool where guests can relax on the large solarium or immerse themselves in the heated water even out of season. Classically rectangular in shape, with a Roman staircase, it measures 5x10 metres and is 140 cm deep. The farmhouse provides free mountain-bikes for children and adults for pleasant cycling excursions, allowing us to admire the beautiful landscape so loved by the great Duke Frederick II of Montefeltro, luminous hills, centuries-old oaks, stone farmhouses and villages rich in ancient memories, framing a corner of the Marche countryside that five centuries ago saw the splendours of the Duchy of Urbino and inspired the sublime art of Raphael and Piero della Francesca. But it is all the surrounding countryside that holds surprises in store, with many animals always ready to show themselves to those who walk along these roads. The Agriturismo La Valle Dimenticata opens up to hospitality by providing two flats, both on the ground floor: for the interiors, many pastel colours and everything necessary for modern living; they are equipped with kitchen, private bathroom, TV, independent heating and independent entrance, and every kind of comfort. Particularly pleasant is the porch, which represents a mediating space between the living area and the garden, ideal for dining al fresco while enjoying the view of the countryside. Wrought iron and wood are the materials chosen for the bedrooms: they look like, or rather are, our grandmothers' beds, as austere as they are simple. Dressers, chests, accompany the guests' rest in the best way. A rural setting for spending a period of total relaxation. La Valle Dimenticata is an energy self-sufficient agriturismo: renewable energy sources are used here, such as solar panels to produce hot water for the lodgings and to heat the swimming pool, photovoltaic panels to produce electricity, and a system for recovering rainwater to irrigate the plantations, in order to avoid waste and safeguard the ecological aspect. We can proudly say that the farmhouse has been arranged in such a way as to make it enjoyable and accessible to handicapped guests.
