I Surì was established in 1996 on the Forno family's farm. In a hilly and panoramic position, it overlooks the estate's vineyards, an ideal balcony over nearby Asti, Alba, the Langhe and the Alps. "I Suri", which in Piedmontese dialect means "sunny", denotes the particular south-south-west exposure that has always been synonymous with great and vocated viticulture. Our agriturismo offers a restaurant service with typical Piedmontese cuisine. On the ground floor there is a dining room that can seat 60 people, which overlooks the dehor that allows - in the summer season - lunch or dinner outdoors on the farmyard. Overnight stays in the five bedrooms named after the dominant colour that characterises them. The farmhouse is housed in the premises once used as a stable and barn in a complex dating back to the late 18th century. The farm owned by the family consists mainly of vineyards cultivated with Barbera, Dolcetto, Grignolino and Cortese grapes for about 20 hectares and arable land for about 10 hectares, as well as a small but well-stocked vegetable garden from which the vegetables used in the preparation of the dishes on offer are obtained. Our farm offers the opportunity to fully taste the agricultural reality on which it is founded through the typical dishes of Piedmontese tradition and the classic wines of Asti and Alba. In the summer guests can enjoy the swimming pool and the surrounding solarium with a wide view of the farm's vineyards, the Monferrato hills and the Alps in the background. Our guests can, on request, visit our vineyards, take part in the autumn grape harvest and also visit the social wine cellar - of which we are conferring members - with the possibility of tasting the wines produced on site. For the youngest guests, the farm offers a playground equipped with a swing, slide, swings, playhouses and other items for children's fun and relaxation.
