Description La Ca' D'Amelio

Amelio and Ivonne arrived here from the Valle d'Aosta and established a farm with cattle, fields and a small cheese-making operation. Their granddaughters grew up within these walls and today run it forward themselves. The restaurant opens Saturday for lunch and dinner, Sunday for lunch only by reservation: just a few tables serving dishes like homemade egg tagliolini with fassona ragù.

The on-farm shop is open Wednesday through Sunday, 9:30am-12:30pm and 2:30pm-5:30pm; they also sell at the Quincinetto market Wednesday afternoons and in Ivrea Saturday mornings. Rooms remain open daily, from €70 to €135 with breakfast included, check-in from noon to 8pm. Pets are not permitted. Located at via Sibia 46/A, in Calea.

On Saturday, the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner; on Sunday, lunch only by reservation. Cured meats and cheeses come from the farmstead's own production, where grandparents Amelio and Ivonne once worked. In the kitchen, dishes change with the seasonal menu: homemade tagliolini, gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi, pork loin with oranges and fennel. No complicated preparations: what the garden and livestock offer becomes the dish of the day. The secondary entrance is designed for guests with mobility difficulties.
