Description Masseria Galatea

Masseria Galatea is a typical Apulian farmhouse with restaurant, close to Santa Maria di Leuca, Lecce, in Salento. After a careful recovery of the internal and external spaces, today it is a place to live a relaxing holiday and in contact with the indigenous and unspoiled nature of Salento. The property is located just 3 km from the beautiful Adriatic coast of Marina di Novaglie and not far from the famous beaches of Pescoluse and Torre Vado. There are 4 double bedrooms (Levante, Tramontana, Mezzogiorno and Ponente), 35 sqm large, with en suite bathroom, with shower, mini fridge, air conditioning, wi-fi and access to the wonderful internal courtyard. Outside, a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests, embraced by a nice lawn with sunbeds and umbrellas. Adjacent to an area with stone barbecue. Masseria Galatea offers a rich and healthy breakfast with typical sweet and salty specialties of Salento that respect the seasonality of the raw material used as vegetables and fruit at km0. In your free time, Masseria Galatea offers sailing boat excursions throughout the Salento area, yoga classes and wellness treatments. Who we are

We are Angelita and Pasquale and we decided to leave our previous work to give life, together with our families, to a farm. In the farm where we live we host travelers from all over the world: we share with them a human place full of rural culture, and we offer a destination and a refreshment along their journey in Salento.

The Masseria Galatea Agriturismo’s restaurant offers Apulian tradition flavors with always fresh ingredients, proposed in a menu of the day that changes seasonally. Our dishes are exclusively made of first quality materials and controlled supply chain. We revisit old local and regional recipes: fresh homemade pasta with organic flour of our production; herbs and vegetables harvested daily from the farm garden; meat selected from local farms combined with wines from Salento; baked goods leavened naturally; homemade desserts. For the most refined palates, a selection of wines from Salento and Puglia. The genuineness of the dishes is complemented by a passion for our work, attention to detail, hospitality and the right pinch of creativity All served in a wonderful setting like that of a real Apulian farm. Theme evenings are also offered to experiment with new paths of taste and culinary relaxation. Restaurant opening Friday and Saturday evening, Sunday lunch; except in the summer, open every evening (just one closing day). Reservations are necessary given the limited number of places in the restaurant.

The awakening in Farmhouse Masseria Galatea is enlivened by the smells and flavors of a rich and healthy breakfast buffet, served in a cozy room with vaulted or open-air vaults, in the silence of the majestic internal courtyard. For our guests will be served only quality products, with a short supply chain and its own creation, such as freshly baked grandmother's croissants and sweets, self-produced jams, yogurt and natural drinks, eggs, local cheese and other delicacies of our farm.

	Bellissima struttura nel cuore del Salento e vicinissima al mare e a Santa Maria di Leuca. Proprietari a dir poco squisiti, accoglienti e professionali nello stesso tempo. Abbiamo cenato diverse volte nel loro ristorante, dove cucina proprio Pasquale, e propongono piatti della tradizionale assolutamente deliziosi e a km0. La colazione abbondante e super genuina, tutto preparato da loro come ci si aspetta da un agriturismo vero. Atmosfera informale, ci si sente davvero a casa! (Excellent)

	Trovata per caso su internet, Masseria Galatea ha rispettato le altissime aspettative che avevamo. Le foto non le rendono giustizia perchè dal vivo è ancora più bella. Finalmente abbiamo trovato un posto dove ritornare. ben tenuta, pulita, cucina superlativa, gestione professionale e familiare nello stesso tempo. 	dopo la chiusura da covid, siamo scappati dalla città per raggiungere questo luogo meraviglioso gestito con passione da Angelita e Pasquale. Abbiamo anche mangiato al loro ristorante prendendo un menù fatto con materie prime di loro produzione. Siamo stati davvero bene. Pace e tranquillità fanno da padrona.
