La Masseria Case Damma occupies a nineteenth-century building along the road from Siracusa to Noto: once a manor house with oil mill and stables, it still cultivates verdello lemons and tarocco oranges in the citrus groves nearby. The rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with rustic furniture in the local tradition. The swimming pool sits among the olive groves, overlooking the countryside. The kitchen prepares authentic Sicilian cuisine. All around, centuries-old trees and cultivated land; a small playground for children.
From here you can reach Noto, Ragusa Ibla, the Vendicari nature reserve, the Plemmirio marine area, and Cava Grande del Cassibile. The masseria organizes cooking classes and olive and citrus harvest days, open to schools and groups as well.
