Farmhouse Il Greppo is located in the province of Siena, not far from Montepulciano, Pienza and Cortona. The facility, open all year long, is a typical restored Tuscan farmhouse which offers its guests a holiday in the name of nature and relaxation. The delicious hospitality of the owners Romano and Lina creates a familiar and relaxing atmosphere.

The Farmhouse is provided with 15 apartments for 2 to 8 people endowed with bathroom, sitting-room with kitchen area and all comforts with access to the wonderful swimming-pool in the open air reserved to the guests of the farmhouse.

Services Farm-house

The owners, retired teachers, have decided to organize for their guests some courses of environmental education and knowledge of the trees and plants, guided tours to the roads of famous wines, like those of Nobile di Montepulciano, courses on cooking in the wood stove and on the art of making honey and fruit jam, wine and oil.Besides it is possible to take part in the work of the farmhouse especially in the period of grape harvest and oilve picking.

Farmhouse Il Greppo is also endowed with a Restaurant where it is possible to taste the specialties of the typical Tuscan cuisine such as pici, pappardelle with aglione sauce or with Chianina meat sauce. All the dishes are simple and wholesome, prepared with first-quality products cultivated for the most part at the farmhouse. - Guests can enjoy a variety of organic products such as oil, wine, honey, vinsanto (sweet wine) and vegetables. Besides, cooking courses and tasting courses are organized at the restaurant. -

Il Greppo is near Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi and is in an ideal position for cultural visits to many places of historic and artistic interest.
