La Locanda del Moro is a traditional Tuscany country house located on top of a sunny and very panoramic hill near the beautiful medieval borough of Sillico. It rises on a terraced area surrounded by grazing sheep and very ancient chestnut forests. The wonderful panorama, look the Garfagnana Valley, the Appennino National Park mountains and the beautiful Apuan Alps making this place a very enchanted one. La Locanda del Moro is a stone faced walls, completely restructured using a traditional Tuscan materials: handmade cotto tile, chestnuts wood and stones. At La Locanda del Moro there are two independent apartments: Il Lonfo and L’Ormasso located at ground floor. The interiors have been restored using natural materials, walls and flooring are painted with vegetal colours only, original and traditional furniture complete the traditional atmosphere of the villa. Each apartment has two double bedrooms, bathroom and dining room with kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, sat lcd television and radio cd player. We offer the apartment with linen and towels and our priced include gas, electricity, tax, final cleaning cost and during winter season the heating cost.. Each apartment has a private outdoor area for summer dining and evening barbecue enjoying the colourful sunset, the view of the valley and the silent of the nature that surrounds the property. From the swimming pool the guests can enjoy the peace and the surrounding mountains with the necessary privacy and comforts for a special and relaxing holiday. La Locanda del Moro offers to the guests unique dishes taken from the Tuscany and Garfanana traditional kitchen using local ingredients only. Under the beautiful veranda in summer or in front of a big fire place in winter, it is possible to taste farro soup, home made pasta, local meet, mushrooms, “salame” and “pecorino” cheese with honey or home made jams, the italian pizza cooked in the traditional fire wood oven.
