The agriturismo Incanto del Fiume (Enchantment of the river) is located in the Val di Cecina, in the heart of Tuscany, only 20 minutes from the Etruscan town of Volterra, 45 minutes from San Gimignano, an hour from Siena and 40 minutes from the sea. The agriturismo is surrounded by a typical Tuscan hilly landscape, with grain fields, olive groves, forests and the Mediterranean ecosystem. Our agriturismo is an entirely refurbished antique Tuscan farmhouse with rooms and apartments. Here you can savour the delicious Tuscan cuisine, as well as the peace and beauty of Tuscan nature. Relax by the pool and enjoy the company of your hosts and the guests who have joined you in soaking up the local atmosphere. All our rooms and apartments were refurbished in the spring of 2005, highlighting the traditional elements as much as possible: the cross vaults, the original arches, the ceilings with beams and bricks, and the typical details made of Volterra tuff, river stone and wood have all been restored to their former glory. The apertures and doors have also been completely renovated in chestnut wood. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, allowing you to leave windows and doors open at all times, regardless of the season and all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. For the names of our rooms and apartments we sought inspiration in the typical river scenery. All rooms have a private bathroom (with yellow, orange and cream tiles to start your day on a cheerful note!). The rooms have been carefully furnished with some antique pieces.
