Just two apartments, carved out of a restored stone farmhouse in the upper Orvieto area, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and oak woods just a few kilometers from Orvieto and Ficulle. The management is family-run. Both accommodations have independent ground-floor entrances: one of 50 sqm, the other of 105, each equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, fast wifi, air conditioning and ceramics and textiles handcrafted by the owners. Outside, a covered terrace for reading or dining al fresco, and a garden with a 12x5 meter saltwater swimming pool, lawns, trees, sun loungers, a ping pong table and a brick barbecue with a large table for group dinners.
The extra virgin olive oil on the table is organic and produced here. Those wishing to learn cooking can stay for at least five nights: the courses are designed for international guests.
Energy comes almost entirely from photovoltaic and solar thermal panels and heat pumps: gas has been eliminated.
The house sits on the border between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, near the A1 motorway exit. From here you can reach Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Lake Bolsena and several villages in the area, alternating excursions with leisurely days between garden and pool.
