Situated in the green heart of the Media Valle de Tevere near Todi, the Agriturismo Tenuta Conti Faina, originally an 11th-century Benedictine abbey, has been carefully restored by its owners, Counts Sebastiano and Alessandro Faina of Civitella dè Conti, who have tried to leave its external charm and characteristic interior unaltered. The building complex, owned by the Faina family since 1884, when it was purchased at an auction for only 24,500 lire, has had and still has the role of an agricultural business centre and is surrounded by a specialised olive grove. Within the property, set in a position from which one can enjoy the Umbrian panorama, four spacious flats have been created; each one has its own private access and is furnished with a combination of antique and modern, with every comfort to offer a pleasant stay. One of the flats is also equipped for the handicapped.
