A mysterious name evoking ancient times and tormented love stories consumed amidst the walls of this ancient residence, a few steps from the shores of Lake Trasimeno. In the countryside between Umbria and Tuscany, just 10 minutes from Cortona, I Capricci di Merion is a beautiful villa of the late XIX Century, whose name is dedicated to Lady Merion and her whim: the noblewoman, doubting her lover, as a proof of love she had him built this house where she could soak in her beloved art and play her harp in absolute peace
The air here is full of Merion’s passion for painting, poetry and music and the bedrooms are full of references to the architectural styles she loved. Today, each of the 9 rooms is named after a central historical figure and gives the guests feeling of old times thanks to the soft light of a starry sky which illuminates every night.

In a magic atmosphere surrounded by music, our guests can enjoy the small area dedicated to wellness: sauna with a starry sky, whirlpool bath with chromotherapy, emotional shower with aromotherapy, corner with herbal teas and relax corner with fireplace, massage room and solarium. The outdoor swimming pool deserves a special note with its wonderful whirlpool corner. The peace in the park around it is gently accompanied by the sound of the water, falling softly from one tank to another… small details that will make the stay in the Villa even more unique and exclusive.
