Le Tortorelle has been operating since 2001, with recently renewed management alongside refreshed spaces and rooms. There are eight rooms, and amenities—the swimming pool and restaurant—are reserved exclusively for guests: no day passes, no events or parties. The pool is saltwater and heated with a heat pump, opening June 1st and closing September 30th. Those seeking a drink without waiting for service will find the honesty bar, self-service.
Dinner features a fixed menu that changes daily, countryside cuisine with 90% Umbrian products, and each evening showcases a different Umbrian extra virgin olive oil. Breakfasts feature homemade sweet and savory pastries.
No dirt roads or hairpin turns to reach us: only paved roads, and within an hour you can reach Umbria's main villages. Gabriele tells the story of the house and oversees the kitchen alongside his team.
