Derived from a rustic building from the end of the 19th century, once used by sharecroppers, the Cornolade farmhouse is surrounded by the greenery of an 8-hectare meadow and the tranquillity of a 5-hectare forest. From the large terrace you can admire the beautiful panorama with views of Lake S. Croce and the Alpago basin. In addition to a large meadow set up as a picnic area made available to guests, and a small playground for children, part of the land is used for the cultivation of small fruits, such as blueberries, raspberries, currants, for the cultivation of apples and grapes, from which we produce the "Col di pietra" Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGP The Cornolade Agritourism offers you the opportunity to taste the products from Mr Angelo's farm, for a lunch or dinner in the name of genuineness and the simple but tasty flavours of the past. In addition to delighting you with local cured meats and cheeses, the farm offers homemade potato gnocchi and hearty grilled pork accompanied by 4 side dishes. Tradition and genuineness can also be found in the yellow cornmeal polenta, cooked over a wood fire and in the copper pot, stirred for at least 40 minutes, as taught by our grandmothers. All prepared without the addition of preservatives or additives. To end the meal on a sweet note, no one renounces the home-made sweets, handmade by Signora Valeria. For a peaceful stay in absolute privacy, the first floor of the farmhouse has been converted into five cosy one-room apartments, all with independent entrance, kitchenette with gas cooker, fridge, private bathroom, TV, independent heating, and panoramic balcony from which you can admire Lake S. Croce and the Alpago mountains, which at sunset are coloured with a soft pink light that makes for a truly unforgettable spectacle. Each studio apartment has dishes, crockery and pots and pans, and beds are provided with quilts and blankets. Guests will be able to enter and exit the premises assigned to them in total freedom, as they will be in possession of the keys.
