In Trivigno, in Basilicata, the San Leo estate appears in documents as far back as 1310, when its abbot participated in the diocesan synod of Acerenza. During World War II it was purchased by the Guarini family, who transformed it into an agricultural business. Today it is managed by Peppino, Maria Giovanna and Andreana.
The villa is rented in its entirety, to small groups: grand halls with wooden beams, fireplace, dining rooms with high ceilings. The suites are spread across different wings, so those who wish to have their own space can do so. All around, walnut and oak woods, wheat fields, Lake Camastra and the Piccole Dolomiti Lucane on the horizon. The panoramic swimming pool has a telescopic cover: it can be used even in winter or on windy days, and is reserved exclusively for villa guests.
Maria Giovanna prepares pastries for breakfast, Andreana advises on what to see in the area. A dedicated team takes care of the pool and gardens.
