Il Querceto, in the heart of Appenninico Lucano Val d’Agri Lagonegrese National Park, is the first step to a trip to nearby natural sanctuaries such as Mount Viggiano, Mount Vulturino, Serra Calvello and the Pietra Pertusillo lake. At the edge of an oak wood, the large farm houses once used for farming purposes have been converted to luxury holiday resorts, following the principles of bioarchitecture. Il Querceto is the ideal place for a true ecological holiday experience, immersed in a new life style. Il Querceto has Double and Family rooms, with 2 suites located in a separated building. All materials and furniture used in the are eco sustainable. Periodical maintanance works (painting, refurbishing etc.) are carried out respecting the environment. Il Querceto has a library with books in the realm of the humanities and the natural world. It offers a gym and a conference room. The 20 hectars wood is ideal for natural trails, hicking and orienteering. It can also be used for school trips and camps. Il Querceto is open throughout the year.

Who we are

I have worked at this structure since I was a child helping my mother, who was the owner, trying to make our guests' stay pleasant, relaxing and fun. Since my mother's departure I have had some initial difficulties but after a long time I have found that feeling I felt when my mother was still alive.

	Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana. Bel posto. La proprietaria è gentile e disponibile anche se ancora un pochino insicura data la sua giovane età. La colazione è variegata e abbondante. (Good)

	Abbiamo organizzato un evento aziendale in Val d'Agri e abbiamo soggiornato al Querceto. Possiamo solo confermare le migliori recensioni circa l'accoglienza calorosa e la bellezza del posto. Si vede che e' tutto e' fatto con passione. Inoltre abbiamo organizzato un evento culinario insieme a Francesca e Marzio e la serata ancora se la ricordano tutti. 	Sono arrivata quasi per caso nel tardo pomeriggio, incuriosita dalle belle recensioni e dalle foto magnifiche del luogo. Sono stata accolta con cortesia e invitata ad assaporare la campagna in una splendida passeggiata nel bosco accompagnata dai cani ed addirittura i gatti dell'azienda. Un aperitivo al fresco sull'amaca bianca e una cena perfetta. Al mattino Yoga in palestra e una colazione spaziale! Ho prenotato la mia vacanza qui, a fine agosto e non vedo l'ora.... (Excellent)
