La Filomena is a scattered and integrated accommodation set within the tiny rural hamlet of Collina di Montefortino. Unique in its kind, it offers guests the opportunity to experience local life and even join in the daily activities of the residents.
The structure was developed by restoring several old family homes, all revolving around the main manor house.
At the center of the hamlet, a two-storey house has been carefully renovated, preserving its original features. It now contains two independent apartments and a single room with kitchen, bathroom, relaxation corner, and bedroom area.
On the ground floor, an old stable has been transformed into a small museum of rural life, open to all guests.
Next to it, beautifully restored wine cellars offer the chance to taste local products and enjoy fine wines from the Marche region.
Walking along one of the two main streets of the village, there is another two-level house with a living area downstairs and a bedroom, bathroom, and loft upstairs, all with a private entrance.
Continuing up the main road leads to the manor house. On the upper floor, accessible via an external staircase, there is another apartment with bedrooms, bathroom, reading corner, relaxation area, and kitchen.
A little further down, descending a staircase made of stone and terracotta tiles, you reach what used to be the hayloft. Here, on the first floor, a space has been created that is more than just a common lounge — a place to relax, read, chat, or simply enjoy the company. You will describe it yourself: in winter, it’s warm and cozy, with the surreal feeling of snow falling indoors; in summer, you can sit under the large veranda, surrounded by nature’s sounds and scents.
On the ground floor, another old stable has been turned into an additional wing of the rural life museum.
