Farm-house Bassari'

(Macerata) - Marche
COD: 043044-AGR-00008 CIN: IT043044B5BIIWQWEK

Description Bassari'

Located among the gentle hills of the Marche region, a short distance from Recanati, Macerata, Loreto, the Conero Riviera, Bassarì is a family-run rural house renovated with an attached agricultural business, which offers rooms and a restaurant in rustic style. Bassarì, already a country estate of the great tenor Beniamino Gigli, is born from the desire to seek the simple things of our lands, to enhance our traditions. For this reason, after years of hectic life, we decided to set ourselves the ambitious goal of creating a place where to eat products from the garden, simple and natural, of creating a place where simplicity and serenity dominate. Bassarì is born from this philosophy, from the desire to seek the simple things that our beautiful lands offer us, to enhance what our traditions offer us, to make heritage of what our elders have taught us. It is with this enthusiasm that, after so many years of hectic life, thousands of kilometers traveled, trips to exotic destinations, we decided to set ourselves the ambitious goal of creating a place where to eat products from our garden, simple and natural, of creating a place where simplicity and serenity dominate, of staying together with nature. I do not know if we will succeed, but if we succeed we will have reached a great goal, if we reach it, it will also be thanks to the participation of all the guests who will want to share with us this philosophy.

Surroundings (Recanati)

Macerata Roman era, Renaissance and Enlightenment: these are the three moments of great flourishing for Macerata. The archaeological area of Helvia Ricina shows how important this center must have been starting from the 1st century A.D. The sumptuous palaces of the sixteenth century are tangible proof of what was the golden century of the city. The architectures of Luigi Vanvitelli and Giuseppe Valadier refer to the development of a strong enlightenment movement. The Arena Sferisterio. Recanati is the city of Leopardi, but also of Beniamino Gigli, not only a singer and actor, but above all one of the most celebrated opera singers of the twentieth century. The Civico Museo Beniamino Gigli is dedicated to the tenor at the Teatro Persiani. Loreto developed around the great basilica that houses the Holy House in which it is said the Annunciation to the Virgin took place. Porto Recanati closes the arc of the Conero coast with the ancient castle donated by Frederick II.
