The agriturismo is conveniently located near the seaside resort of Torre Vado (1 km) and not far from the most important cities of art in Salento: Lecce (70 km), Santa Maria di Leuca (10 km), Otranto (45 km), Gallipoli (30 km). The 'agriturismo del salento "SpecchiaRussa" offers a characteristic, elegant and refined decor, and has a large outdoor area with tables, chairs and deckchairs. The facility is located on a farm that produces mainly medium-fruity extra virgin olive oil. The Pajaru is a rural construction, typical of the Salento region, built using the dry wall technique. They are now one of the characteristic elements of the Salento landscape, so much so that they are protected and valued by local institutions. The constructions usually have a single room with no windows to the outside. They have a considerable thickness, which ensures a cool interior environment even in the hottest months. The Paiaru of the Agriturismo del Salento SpecchiaRussa is certainly one of the largest in the whole Salento area, recently structured, its interior is particularly welcoming and equipped with the following comforts: a large living room; a flight of stairs leading to a loft with a double bed; a Christian bathroom with shower; outside the pajara there is a small house with a kitchen inside. Inside our suggestive farmhouse there are four two-roomed apartments surrounded by greenery, in the midst of hundreds of olive trees and equipped with every comfort to spend a wonderful holiday in Salento.
