Just minutes from Cagliari, in the green enclave of Sa Serra (Assemini), Agriturismo Is Scalas blends countryside hospitality with classic Sardinian dining. There are 12 guest rooms (one accessible), each with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and fridge; generous indoor–outdoor areas, a seasonal pool and reception halls make it ideal for holidays, events and business dinners.

The kitchen showcases farm ingredients and time-honoured recipes. On Sundays, a set meat menu features 6 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 mains, vegetables, Sardinian desserts, coffee and digestif; water and wine are included, packaged soft drinks extra. The restaurant is closed on Mondays; Tuesday to Saturday it opens for dinner and welcomes non-resident guests by reservation.

Is Scalas also runs a 40-hectare educational farm with year-round workshops (fresh pasta, dairy and cheese, olive and oil, herbs and liqueurs, ceramics, folk music and dance), stable visits and seasonal activities for schools and groups.

Its location is perfect for exploring southern Sardinia: 9 km from Cagliari–Elmas airport and 14 km from the port, with quick access to beaches, wetlands and art towns.
