Agriturismo Pittinuri – Santa Caterina di Pittinuri (Cuglieri, Oristano). A family-run farm stay by the Casule family, nestled in Mediterranean scrub just a 5-minute walk from Santa Caterina beach, amid limestone cliffs and the historic Aragonese tower. Accommodation: 2 double rooms and 8 bungalows (up to 4 guests) with a lounge convertible into a twin bedroom, private bathroom, furnished outdoor area, and fridge; bungalows sit under shade from mastic and wild olive trees. On site: vegetable gardens, cereals and fodder crops, olive groves, orchards and vineyards; livestock includes sheep, cattle, pigs, wild boar, poultry and rabbits for meats and cheeses (pecorino). In-house restaurant serving classic Sardinian fare led by Agrichef Salvatore: house charcuterie, garden vegetables, casizolu and pecorino cheeses, ricotta ravioli, malloreddus, roast suckling pig, lamb and wild boar; traditional desserts (seadas, formagelle) and a weekly dinner with fresh local fish. Perfect base for S’Archittu and Torre del Pozzo, the quartz beaches of the Sinis (Is Arutas, Mari Ermi, Maimoni), and the archaeological sites of Cornus and Tharros.
