The restaurant at Farm-house Medau Becciu

In the heart of Sulcis, the restaurant of Agriturismo Medau Becciu is the place where Sardinian cuisine returns to its essence: seasonal ingredients grown on the farm and meat from our livestock transformed into generous and sincere dishes. The spacious hall, perfect also for weddings, baptisms and ceremonies, welcomes typical meals that begin with eight appetizers: olives, artichoke hearts in oil, crostini with olive pâté, peppers and eggplants in oil, cheeses, cordula with peas, fricassea, ricotta fritters, fried artichokes, fried piglet trotters and vegetable frittatas. Followed by two first courses among gnocchetti alla campidanese, fregola al sugo, artichoke lasagne, maccarones de busa with vegetables or cheese ravioli, then local second courses: lamb with peas or with olives and cardoons, sheep in sauce, pork or roasted piglet with vegetable side dishes. Finished with seasonal fruit, Sardinian sweets such as fried ravioli, coffee and an amaro; packaged soft drinks are available as extras. Here every course tells the rhythm of the fields and island conviviality: an invitation to sit down, share and discover the true taste of the Sardinian countryside.
