In the heart of northern Sardinia, just a few minutes from Tula and about 800 meters from Lake Coghinas, Agriturismo Sa Pigalva is a family-run place where flavors, traditions, and genuine hospitality come together among Mediterranean scrubland, with Mount Limbara in the background.

The experience here is not only about food: the nearby sheep and cattle farm can be visited, so you can see the daily work behind many of the ingredients used in the kitchen.

At the table, Sa Pigalva serves handmade, farm-to-table dishes faithful to Sardinian tradition, especially from the Logudoro area: ricotta and spinach ravioli, “a ungedda” malloreddus (traditional Sardinian gnocchetti), Gallura and Tula-style soups, roasted suckling pig, IGP lamb and beef, along with a generous selection of appetizers featuring local cured meats, cheeses, and traditional specialties. Typical desserts follow, including seadas and other Sardinian sweets. Some flours also come from Cappelli durum wheat. Gluten-free options for guests with celiac disease and vegetarian choices are available on request.

For those who wish to stay overnight, the rooms are recently built and include a private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, towels, and a hairdryer. Each room has an independent entrance and a veranda where you can relax overlooking the pool or the green pastures. A large swimming pool is available for guests, and the spacious dining hall is suitable for banquets, private parties, and ceremonies.

The location is also ideal for exploring the surroundings: archaeological sites such as Sa Mandra Manna and the “Sa Pigalva” nuraghe are close by, along with nearby sanctuaries, viewpoints over Lake Coghinas, and, for anglers, a well-equipped base for bass fishing with dedicated services (parking with charging points, boat towing, boat storage, and partnerships for guiding and rental). A shuttle service to the main ports and airports of Sardinia is also available. Open all year round; booking is recommended.
