The place

The Agritourism “Celso” is located at almost 2 km from the village Valledolmo, and the name “Celso” is chosen because it is the name of the area where it is situated. The Agritourism was created from the old rural buildings that were restored and adapted for hosting. All the restorations respected the local construction typology. The structure is located in the green of the farm cultivations, olive trees and vineyards, together with ornamental and fruit trees.



Hospitality

The Agritourism counts 5 rooms nicely furnished. All together the rooms host 15 beds. The rooms have independent access and rest rooms, air conditioning, heater and telephone. In addition there are two spacious and luminous living rooms for guests.



SPORT AND FREE TIME

The Agritourism “Celso” has a nice rectangular swimming pool of 16x7 m surrounded by palm, olive, citrus and ornamental trees. It is possible go for a walk inside the farm among the olive trees and the vineyards.



The Kitchen

The Agriturismo offers on request lunch and/or dinner with typical dishes of the Sicilian kitchen. All the meals are served with the great local wine.



TO VISIT

In the surroundings of “Celso” are located the villages Valledolmo, Alia, Vallelunga, Sclafani Bagni and Mussomeli with their ancient churches and buildings. Not to far from Alia, it is possible to visit the “Grotte della Gurfa”; these are artificial caves drilled out by humans for mysterious purposes. At one hour driving there are the ancient villages of the Madonie mountains, including Petralia Soprana and Sottana, Castellana, Polizzi Generosa with its 32 churches, and further Ganci and Geraci Siculo. The Valley of the Temples near Agrigento is at one hour driving. The provinces of Agrigento, Palermo, Caltanisetta and Enna and also the municipalities of Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Morgantina can be reached in a hour driving. In addition in summer time it is possible to spend a day at the beaches of Cefalù, Porto Empedocle and Eraclea Minoa.
