Hi..... we are Herta and Wolfgang and we have been on our 9-hectare land in Tuscany for 28 years with our horses, donkeys, dogs, cats and various birds. More precisely on the hills below Campiglia Marittima, a medieval postcard-like village, roughly opposite the Island of Elba. Terra dei Ciuchi is situated in the middle of nature, not far from the sea for example from the Gulf of Baratti, which you can reach in 20 minutes. On nine hectares of land between vineyards and olive trees, between holm oaks cork oaks and arbutus trees, horses and donkeys graze. Take a walk on the terraces of dry stone walls to find them. Here, in the middle of nature, near the main house four two-room apartments and one three-room apartment have been built. The apartments in rustic style are equipped with all comforts.

Surroundings (Campiglia Marittima)

You live in the historic center of the medieval village of Campiglia Marittima, crossing small winding alleys you reach the square in a few minutes to have breakfast. Perhaps you want to visit the enormous Etruscan excavations located in the enchanting gulf of Baratti. Or the ruins of the Rocca di San Silvestro on the hilltop. Do you like bathing in the thermal lake of Calidario with the constant temperature of 36°? Within 20 minutes you reach the beach. And during the hottest hours you retreat to your apartment on via Parenti to dedicate yourself to one of the books for which you never find time at home. Having an aperitif you observe the countless swallows that hunt insects.
