Podere Pietraposa sits on a hilltop in the Alta Val di Cecina, in the municipality of Pomarance: forty-seven hectares cultivated using natural methods with cereals, olive groves, orchards and woodlands, plus a synergistic vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen. Sara and Paolo manage it all. On sunny days, from the windows you can see the island of Gorgona to the west and Volterra to the north. Five apartments of approximately 60 square meters each, with kitchenette and private bathroom, plus one double bedroom of 45 square meters on the ground floor: no television, no smoking indoors. At dinner, a fixed menu featuring Tuscan cuisine that changes every evening; vegan and vegetarian dishes available upon request. Surrounding the property are the Monterufoli and Berignone nature reserves, perfect for walks on foot or horseback.
