Thanks to its excellent location among the hills of the Berignone Forest, the farmhouse "Sant 'Emilia " enjoys a 360° outlook over one of the most impressive sceneries in the whole Tuscan countryside and over the ancient towns of Volterra and Pomarance. The Berignone Forest Nature Reserve still keeps untouched its variety of vegetation and wildlife, so it will be easy for you to watch the flight of a buzzard above your head or some fallow and roe deer walking among the olive trees of our estate. We propose you delicious dinners after the typical old recipes of the Tuscan cookery; you will have the chance to enjoy the unsophisticated but, at the same time, peculiar taste of the authentic organic ingredients of our farm (such as eggs, vegetables, fruits, jam, extra-virgin olive oil) all exalted by the flavours of the local aromatic herbs. A wide selection of wines from our lands (including the highly esteemed Chianti ones) is at your disposal to make the most of your dinners or just to exalt those small peaceful moments that come before the sunset on the Tuscan countryside HORSERIDING: At only 3 Km from our farmstay, you can find a ridingschool where skilled instructors will be glad to teach horseriding to groups of people or even to single persons More experienced riders will also have the chance to walk on horseback through the hills and the valleys of the Berignone Forest Nature Reserve, or by the side of the Cecina River ponds.
Restored with care and dedication out of the respect for our traditions, the farmhouse is composed by 4 double-rooms (with bathroom),1 apartment (made up of 2+2 beds) provided with a private garden and 1 family-suite. The apartment and one of the above mentioned six rooms are suited to host disabled guests.

On the other hand, it takes less than one hour to reach the Tyrrenian coasts and some of the most pleasant resorts of the Mediterranean Sea.
