The holiday farm Il Borgo del Lupo is situated in Fonte Vetriana, a small and charming hamlet in the commune of Sarteano, at the southe end ofTuscany and the province of Siena. The foot of Monte Cetona, between two fabulous valleys, the verdant Val di Chiana and the barren and fascinating Val d’Orcia, the holiday farm Il Borgo del Lupo overlooks the square of the small village which has less than ten permanent residents and an inn, Spirito di... vino, where it is possible to taste the best wines and food of the area. Our holiday farm comprises five apartments furnished in “arte povera” style, comfortable and provided with all facilities, with attention paid to every detail and with many aspects to be discovered. You can choose between relaxing by the pool, taking a walk or cycling along the paths immersed in the countryside leading to the top of Monte Cetona or, during the winter, enjoy a peaceful week-end with a pair of warm woolly socks on in front of the fire place. Or stay at Borgo del Lupo to discover the beauties of our area and the many towns and art cities which have made it famous around the world: Sarteano, Radicofani, San Casciano dei Bagni, Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Oriveto, Perugia and Assisi.
Five fully furnished and independent apartments, each comprising a living room-kitchen, one or two bedrooms, and bathroom. Almost all feature a fireplace. Each apartment is equipped with bed linens, tableware, and cleaning products. Furnished in Tuscan rustic style with all modern comforts, they are perfectly nestled within an ancient rural village that still maintains its old-world characteristics.

Our farmhouse is located at the center of a circle where the farthest city, Rome, is only 170 km away. With a maximum of one hour by car you can reach the most characteristic places of upper Lazio, Umbria and central-southern Tuscany. Close to towns like Siena, Arezzo and Perugia. Very close to thermal centers like San Casciano dei Bagni, Chianciano terme, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni di san Filippo. History and gastronomy surround us: Montepulciano and Montalcino, famous, respectively, for the "nobile" and the "brunello"; Pienza, the land of pecorino; the Val di Chiana and its chianina. Chiusi, an Etruscan town rich in tombs; Sarteano, land of the Joust of the Saracen, which with its castle dominates Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana. And then...
