In the heart of Tuscany equidistant from the cities of Pisa, Florence and Siena lies the Agriturismo Villa Marmini; immersed in unspoilt, verdant countryside, it is also close to San Gimignano on one side and the Etruscan Coast on the other. The Agriturismo Villa Marmini covers a total area of about 5 hectares at a distance of one and a half kilometres from the historic centre of Volterra, which can also be reached on foot along a charming road of Roman origin that once connected Volterra to Florence. The only two visible tombs of the ancient Etruscan necropolis found in excavations also managed by the former owners of the Villa dei Marmini stand on the property. The cinerary urns found on the grounds of the villa are housed in the Etruscan Museum of Volterra and partly in the Archaeological Museum of Florence. The name of the Villa known as Villa dei Marmini was given to the construction because 'marbles', i.e. alabaster fragments of Etruscan urns still discernible in the ancient wall surrounding the villa's courtyard, were used as building material. In the ancient stone-clad rooms, breakfast with genuine Volterra and Tuscan products will be served on request. Surrounded by olive trees is a large swimming pool around which typical Tuscan dishes will be served on request.

The agriturismo consists of 5 apartments. Each apartment features an independent entrance and a private, well-equipped outdoor space. Tasting services are offered in the tavern.
