In the green shade of a pine grove, one finds the ANTIQUE VILLA of the Nicasi family dating back to the Seicento with its surrounding DEPENDANCIES and private chapel. Within the park a series of building give testimony to the various rural activities of peasant families, dependent on the Nicasi farm holdings. There is thus, "La Tinaia " (winery), salon with a high beamed ceiling and a FIRE-PLACE with the Vitelli family coat of arms, external veranda, ideal side for parties and meetings too. There is the cantina (cellar), the "casciaro " (cheese room), the forno(bread oven) and an old granary surrounding "La Terrazza " La Terrazza, a large farm house dating from 1882, the name was originally tied to its type of roof which was, in fact, well exposed to the sun and was created as a large terrace in which were dried corn, wheat and chestnuts. Once dried, they were then gathered and deposited in the rooms and in the internal silos. The was the principal function of the building "la terrazza ", but there are still some contadini today who have memories on another time of farming activities on the Nicasi estate. In times different from today, in fact, these were also rooms ideal for the celebrating of the end of harvest, or of a birth, when one found oneself, there under the pines listening to the sound of an accordions and in the light of littlle fires lighted in the surrounding avenues. The property has the typical and rural idea of the ancients FARM HOUSES, now confortables APARTMENTS in the beautiful view of the ANTIQUE VILLA and DEPENDANCIES. There are peace and silence, only the sounds of the country, the village and of the principal church’bells (it’is in fact into the property). Today the FARMHOLIDAYS ( AGRITOURISM) is constituted of 2 or 3 independents FARM HOUSES or APARTMENTS of about 100 meters (1100 square feet) each, which are tied by an external staircase, with a common laundry, a room for local products, a recreation room (ping pong, biliardino)
