The restaurant Casal Cerqueto provides our guests with a wide and varied menu with dishes that evoke the real traditional Umbrian cuisine: original, tasty and simple but most of all genuine. Our chef offers those flavors that most of us have lost or forgotten. All recipes are typical of the area, and many of these have been handed down from our grandmothers, revised with care to keep the traditional taste by using products selected from local farmers. Our bread, cakes and some of the pastries are prepared daily. The restaurant hall is air conditioned and has large windows that guarantee a beautiful view over the green hills of the estate. There is also a veranda where, especially in summer, you can have breakfast or just relax while enjoying the atmosphere of the country. The food and wine tastings are one of the traditions of our company. Together with experts you can taste the most famous wines of the area, and have samples of the typically Umbrian finger food. We also organize oil tastings for those who want to add to their experience the “ability” to recognize the different flavors of this precious and healthy ingredient of our cuisine. You can also attend our cooking classes so you can lea how to prepare umbricelli, the Umbrian bread, the delicious “torta al testo”, the focaccia (sort of flat flavored bun), the "arvoltoli" and the almond cookies.
