The Parks High Roads started from Berceto in Parma’s province ending in Verna’s Cliff that is striving on Casentino. It arrives in Carpegna Mountain Hermitage into the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Park. The Park links an itinerary composed of 27 stages crossing the Appennino between Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marke. It touches 10 provinces with 500 km of climbs and grades crossing7 natural parks and it is linked to ancient pilgrims’ roads. This itinerary touches ancient parishes and villages in Appennini and holy places as the Camaldoli hermitage.
