The Agriturismo is housed in an ancient 12th-century Baronial mill restored a few years ago, at the foot of the Naturalistic forest of the Gallipoli Cognato Park, within the Dolomiti Lucane and near the nativity-scene village of Castelmezzano, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. At Molino Della Contessa you can taste cold cuts, preserves, appetizers, ham and homemade bread, dairy products, meats, vegetables, flours and doughs as well as wines and water, all strictly local. At our farm, in addition to tasting typical foods and products from Basilicata and of our own production, you can relax by taking ecological walks along the banks of the Camastra stream, through the beech grove, and rest in our welcoming rooms equipped with all comforts. We are open all year round from Monday to Sunday, we accept reservations for parties and banquets of all kinds. The Agriturismo Molino della Contessa was established in 2004 in an old mill from the 1800s, restored and equipped with all the best comforts that allow those staying at our facility to fully enjoy the tranquility and relaxation you are looking for when you come to Basilicata.
