A traditional masseria in Lucania, sunny and peaceful dating from the 19nth century, looking out over the Ionic coast, in the vicinity of the archaeological zone of Metaponto, stretching for about 200 hectares cultivated in orchards or vegetable gardens according to biological criteria.

This masseria offers various types of rooms equipped with every comfort, situated in an environment of solar colors where white prevails, with handcrafted furnishings whose simplicity render the lodgings comfortable, situated in ample areas rich with furnished greenery, where the colors of the geraniums, oleanders, bougainvilleas and jasmines mingle with the green of the lawns, the limes, the pines, the acacias and the enormous eucalyptuses.

Originally intended as a wine cellar, the 'Locanda le Giare' restaurant is surrounded by an evocative porch located right into a lovely citrus garden: an astonishing setting for dinners and buffet breakfasts.
All meals are prepared using natural and genuine ingredients, all of which carefully selected and cooked.
Special menus bring back to life ancient rural recipes, exalting the typical Mediterranean and Lucanian taste in food.
