The agritourism facility is located in the Basilicata Region, specifically in Rotondella, in the Province of Matera. It is part of the Laura Pastore Agricultural Estate and is situated within the main building, specifically in the "Tavernetta" used to host those people who love simple things, such as spending a holiday in the name of sun, nature, tranquility and... genuine products. It is a small family-run agritourism, consisting of a welcoming and comfortable apartment. The spacious and well-kept outdoor areas will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the relaxation offered by the surrounding nature.
The Agriturismo La Tavernetta consists of a welcoming recently built apartment with a surface area of approximately 140 square meters, where an attempt has been made to recreate the rural environments of the past, revisiting them and making them more elegant and comfortable. Access to the premises is characterized by a large staircase, entirely in stone, and upon entering the gaze cannot help but go to the two beautiful arches, also in stone. The spacious hall is enriched by a characteristic fireplace that brings us back mentally to the past, when the fireplace was the center of the house and the meeting point of the family. In the spacious kitchen, entirely built in stone, there is a fully equipped cooking area with: dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, etc. The rooms are two: one double bedroom and one triple bedroom. Both are furnished with wrought iron beds and rustic style furniture, with an en-suite bathroom equipped with all comforts and with a hydromassage shower.

The position in which the agriturismo is located will allow you to easily reach both the sea and the mountains. In just five minutes, in fact, you will be able to reach the hilltop center of Rotondella, which develops with a particular spiral architecture from the base to the top of the high hill, where it is located at 576 meters above sea level. From its summit it is possible to enjoy a splendid panoramic view, so much so that it is commonly known as the "balcony of the Ionian Sea". Not far away is the "Pollino National Park", with its naturalistic trails and where you can admire the Bosnian pine and the golden eagle. Reaching the seaside resorts of the Ionian coast is even simpler, in fact the agriturismo is located just minutes from the sea. In the vicinity there are several facilities for recreational activities such as riding stables, futsal courts, go-kart track, clay pigeon shooting, didactic farms etc...
