LA STORNARA - DIFFERENT BY NATURE! La Stornara is an ancient Apulian Masseria dating back to the 1940s, once a place for the production and processing of tobacco leaves. Today La Stornara offers the experience of an exclusive stay in charming flats finely furnished in ancient art in the setting of bucolic nature and the privilege of being able to access a secluded beach in a Nature Reserve! An exclusive and regenerating location just 5 km from the sea and in a strategic position for visiting fascinating places such as the Sassi of Matera, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Grottaglie, the ghost town of Craco and the Pollino National Park! All this for our guests means enjoying a regenerating and unique holiday!
We offer 5 delightful flats with bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and fireplace. Each room is characterised by old terracotta floors and high stone barrel vaults that regulate the interior climate. The interiors are well furnished and equipped with every comfort. The arte povera style gives your stay a rural feeling inspired by the life of the tobacco workers who lived, cultivated and processed the fragrant leaves here. We offer accommodation for 2 to 4 persons with the possibility of dogs and cats in tow (reservation required). Cleaning takes place regularly every week, daily on request. The kitchens offer every comfort, plus there is a wood-burning barbecue, use of the farm's organic garden with seasonal vegetables and the possibility of taking fresh eggs from the henhouse (all in common respect).
