At Mainolda, Mantuan cuisine reigns according to a family tradition passed down for centuries. The entire family team works at the stoves, particularly Pierangelo, a very skilled and passionate cook. The large vegetable garden found in the other agricultural company owned by the property, Campagna Bassa, supplies the kitchen with fresh produce. And for the meats, the farmyard animals including hens, ducks and geese that you will see roaming in the fields or swimming in the ditch next to the house. The two dining rooms can accommodate up to forty covers. In the room with the old bar furniture you can sip a good coffee and the house liqueurs. The dishes are accompanied by typical wines of the area such as lambrusco mantovano, white Garda Colli morenici obtained from Chardonnay, Sauvignon grapes, classic method sparkling wines and Lugana. The kitchen opens Friday and Saturday evening, Sunday at lunch!
