The restaurant at Farm-house Borgo San Donino

Located in San Martino della Battaglia in the Selva Capuzza area, from which it takes its name, it appears in maps prior to 1850 and is sometimes referred to as "Casetta Catuzzi". The change in the current name seems to date back to an Italianization of the dialectal form of "cappuccio", meaning the top of a hill, indicating its location. Some ideas for seasonal menus: - Appetizers consist of various "tastings" ranging from cured meats to vegetables, to small preparations such as omelets and small hot gratins. - First courses are offered in two servings, ranging from homemade pasta to tortelli with various fillings, gnocchi, caponsei and "bigoli"... - Second courses based on meat are mainly cooked on the grill, including "mixed grill", made up of Costine, Salamelle and Chicken, Tagliata di Manzo or Cavallo and Costate. Fish dishes from the Lake are also offered (Pike with Polenta, Lake Trout Fillets, Marinated Cavedano...). During the winter season there is also spiedo and Bolliti. - Desserts are all homemade; ranging from traditional Sbrisolona to Torta di Pane, from Biscotti to creations made by the chefs... - Wines are, naturally, those produced by the vineyards of the estate, Podere Selva Capuzza.
