The rural house around which the estate developed dates back to 1600. Everything here revolves around the kitchen: it is the starting point and the destination. Three brothers manage it, closely overseeing every phase, from the fields to the plate.
Raw materials come directly from the company's own production. Family recipes return to the table: the sbrisolona, homemade agnoli, dishes that change with the seasons. No fixed menu all year round.
The structure is located in Valdaro, a countryside area in Mantua, on Via Vespucci. The activity, Azienda Agrituristica Carra Claudia, carries on a profession passed down through generations of farmers: once we cultivated to survive, today we also cultivate for those who sit at our table.
Visitors find family-style cooking, designed for those who eat as though they were guests in a home. It is not a restaurant playing at being rustic: the countryside here is the real thing, with all the work it entails.
