The restaurant at Farm-house Pietraposa

The cuisine at Podere Pietraposa is simple, Tuscan and seasonal. In the evening, by reservation, we offer a fixed menu that follows the vegetable garden: seasonal vegetables, hand-rolled pasta, rustic soups, local meats and homemade desserts. The extra virgin olive oil is our own, as are the herbs and legumes grown on the farm. On mild evenings, dinner is served outdoors, with views over the Alta Val di Cecina valley; in winter the fireplace sets the atmosphere. Our wine list showcases local labels from between Volterra and the sea. Vegetarian options are available and, with advance notice, gluten-free or lactose-free dishes. It is a slow, carefully prepared dinner, designed for those who love genuine ingredients and traditional flavors.
