Villa Gabbiano is the ancient manor house (dating back to the 18th century) of the Counts Fiumi Sermattei della Genga who are still the owners, located in the centre of their 65 ha estate on the slopes of the Monte Subasio Nature Park. The farm, surrounded by olive groves and oak trees (450 m above sea level) mainly produces oil, raises farmyard animals and saddle horses and is 6 km from the historic centre of Assisi, 30 km from Perugia and Spoleto and 50 from Gubbio. The Villa's accommodation formulas allow guests to choose whether to stay in a room or in a flat. Those who choose the latter solution will be able to reside in one of the charming accommodation units (from 2 to 10 places, independent entrance and garden, some with fireplace) obtained from the "Bonitto" farmhouse. This is ideal accommodation for organised groups and families wishing to spend their holidays in autonomy immersed in the lush vegetation of the most authentic Umbria. The restaurant, for which a large hall has been reserved, provides a cuisine that re-proposes traditional Umbrian gastronomy, whose genuineness is guaranteed by the farm's exquisite products (among others, jam, cold cuts, cheese and oil).
