We are Lo Dzerby, an agritourism restaurant in Machaby di Arnad, in the Aosta Valley. Opened in 1978 by Cesarino and Lina, it continues today with the same passion through their daughter Sylvie and her husband Fabrizio.
Here we do what we know best: we grow vines, raise pigs and rabbits, cultivate chestnuts and vegetables; we keep bees. Everything we produce ends up on your plate. The menu is not extensive because we offer authentic Aosta Valley dishes – the real ones – with our cured meats, our potatoes, our fresh warm bread. Our prices are fair because we are not looking to make a fortune: we want our guests to eat well and be able to afford it.
To reach us you need to walk about 900 meters along a mountain path through chestnut and birch trees – it is not a casual stroll, but those who arrive know what to expect. We are open from May to October on weekends and holidays, in August every day except Monday. Cash only. No internet, no distractions: just the food and the mountains.
