Ivaldo Orzan purchased the vineyard in 1964, nestled in the hills of Collio: it had belonged to his grandfather. From there began the production of artisanal wine, a tradition that continues to this day. The Friulano Doc Collio "Una Gnot" is made as it was in the 1960s: one night of maceration, followed by hand pressing. A full-bodied, well-structured wine. For the white wines, soft pressing is used instead, from whole grapes or with brief macerations of just a few hours.
Since 1994, the farm has also welcomed guests at the agritourism restaurant, open on Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and dinner. You'll enjoy authentic Friuli cuisine: homemade salami, sopressa and pancetta, Sauris prosciutto sourced from other local producers. Every dish is paired with the farm's own wines.
