It is in our small family-run restaurant that ancient flavors and knowledge come together; it is here that the fruit of the slow passage of seasons meets the fire of our kitchen; it is here that this fire wraps those fruits to unite them, in flavor, with other flavors according to rural recipes jealously guarded by the women who preceded me over the years, both from my family and from my husband's family; it is here that taste meets a home ready to welcome friends and relatives for your events. In our menus you will find only organic vegetables and seasonal organic fruit: this is a choice that allows us to consume the products of our farm in their natural ripening period, guaranteeing genuineness and quality of the dishes we serve you. We can organize confirmations, communions, baptisms, birthdays, graduation parties, business lunches and... weddings for up to about 70-80 people. Our kitchen offers a wide variety of vegetable-based appetizers, focaccia, pittule, croquettes, small omelettes, tomatoes, local cheeses combined with our homemade jams and Salentine honey, local cured meats... First courses are made with fresh pasta made in house (orecchiette, cavatelli, maccheroncini...); we also offer typical dishes such as ciceri e tria, fried muersi, delicious legume soups... Second courses based on grilled meat (sausage, capocollo, chicken thigh, turcinieddhro, skewer), horse meat a pignata, meatballs... accompanied by roasted or fried potatoes or salad. Upon request we can prepare excellent fiorentine steaks or veal ribs. And, to finish, seasonal fruit, typical homemade desserts, aromatic herb liqueur infusions.
