Casale dei Dotti is an agriturismo set in the heart of the Umbrian countryside: a rural house dating back to 1864, carefully restored to preserve its original character, with ancient oak beams and local stone, and surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove with a swimming pool.

Your stay is all about small, place-rooted details: comfortable apartments with an authentic atmosphere, a breakfast basket that highlights local products, and a barbecue area in the garden available free of charge.

For guests who want to taste Umbria at a slow pace, there is a traditional tasting with countryside views: a board of cured meats, bruschetta, cheeses and a glass of wine (Umbria IGT, or, in the basic version, Trasimeno DOC). You can also add a guided tour of the farm with visits to the cellar, the livestock area, the vineyards and the historic olive grove, or choose traditional cooking lessons directly in your apartment kitchen, featuring ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil, truffles, mushrooms and saffron.

The olive grove is at the heart of the experience: cultivation follows traditional methods, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers; olives are hand-harvested and the extra virgin olive oil is produced by cold pressing. In October and November, guests can join the harvest and enjoy the excitement of the new oil, perhaps with a slice of toasted bread by the lit fireplace. In summer, the large olive trees provide natural shade and a peaceful atmosphere around the pool.

If you like mixing relaxation with experiences, the property also offers organized or partner activities: horse riding through the Umbrian countryside (from one hour to a full day), bike tours around Lake Trasimeno, and boat or canoe outings on the lake (with Isola Maggiore and Isola Polvese also reachable by ferry), as well as options such as rafting, fly fishing and golf with dedicated discounts for guests.
